OpenSciEd 6.1 Unit Check & Connect

This task is specifically designed as an opportunity to support student transfer in the OpenSciEd 6.1 Unit. After analyzing student work, Washington educators recognized that students needed additional opportunities to practice transfer in order to fully engage with transfer expected of students on the end-of-unit task. After analyzing the existing assessment opportunities within the unit and thinking about the concepts students need to use, Lesson 3 Day 3 was identified as an ideal placement for this Check & Connect.
