Defining & Evaluating 3D Assessments

This workshop provides a deep dive into the Achieve Task Screener, which is a tool for evaluating the quality of science assessment tasks. This workshop is meant to be highly interactive, with lots of conversations and work - in both small and whole group formats. Ultimately, the task screener is meant to be a way to scaffold your thinking about task quality, so it should be used more as a process than a checklist. Also, the questions of the task screener do overlap, as they are attempting to capture the same criteria in different ways. Finally, the application of the screener can and will be iterative - you may find yourself going back to prior questions as you dive deeper into the task.
