NGSS District Assessment Toolkit
This Toolkit is a sustained and supported professional learning experience designed to shift the culture of assessment to one that is more caring. The Toolkit approach is built on the premise that deep assessment literacy and high quality professional learning require 1) supported, ongoing, embedded learning; 2) learning connected to the work educators are doing in their classrooms, at that time, and 3) the development of functional assessment literacy is prioritized over terms and theory.
The six modules are designed for flexible entry points and pathways to support district teams on a journey to develop more equitable 3D assessment systems with learners at the center.
